Für Besitzer großer und kleiner Yachten rund um die Inseln Mallorca, Menorca oder Ibiza dürfte dies keine gute Nachricht darstellen.

Ankerndes Schiff in der Bucht von Gran CanariaUm die arg gebeutelten Seegraswiesen in den flachen Gewässern vor den beliebten Urlaubsorten zu schützen haben die kommunalen Regierungen das Ankern in Buchten verboten. Als Ersatz werden an festgelegten Orten Muringbojen geschaffen, an denen die Schiffsbesitzer künftig anlegen können. Diese werden fest an einem Betonsockel auf dem Meeresgrund verankert und können so der Flora keinen Schaden mehr zufügen.

Ärgerlich ist diese Nachricht insofern, als dass nun eine große Anzahl der malerischen kleinen Sandbuchten der Inseln keine Möglichkeiten mehr für Übernachtungen oder Badestopps bieten. Stattdessen müssen nun alle Yachtbesitzer auf die gleichen Buchten ausweichen. So wird es schwerer werden, mal einen wirklich abgelegenen Ort für einen romantischen Sonnenuntergang oder einen FKK Badegang zu finden.

Ob es gegebenenfalls Ausnahmeregelungen geben wird, ist zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht bekannt.
